In Montevideo, we had a rather nice hotel that had a spa! So it’s fair to say that when we arrived, that was all I was interested in, lol

Next morning we did walk up to the big letters for photos…

Fiona found a beautiful cafe for us to visit that us to be an old pharmacy. Had a toast and a very weak chai latte. We then walked back to the hotel, which was over an hour away along the beach.

One other bit of exciting gossip happened in Montevideo! For lunch and one of the dinners, we went round the corner to a food marketplace, where there are over 10 different fast food types to order, and then everyone sits in the middle. Great for groups!
The second night, there were about 10 of us for dinner, and the waiter came over to me and said this is from a gentleman. It was a number on a napkin.
The girls got me messaging him, and Lucy searched the whole place for the guy after he sent over a photo, lol
He was from Uruguay, 37, and didn’t speak any English, so all the messages were going via Google Translate. We later found he had two Facebook profiles with a wife and daughter on one, so good job nothing happen. Very faltering to be called a beautiful blonde!
