This part of the salt flats used to be a lake, so the algae that was at the bottom of the lake has turned into stone.
The best bit of today was the flamingos!!!
We then visited what looked like the Bolivian rainbow mountain.
We then saw Vizcacha, they live in these rocks.
One of the famous landmarks is the stone tree. Was super windy and cold here though so was a quick photo and then back to the car.
We then saw the red lagoon and more flamingos!
And the night ended with cake as it was Heike’s 40th birthday, we were in shared accommodation.
