As I will be living out of these bags for nearly 6 months it’s been super important to find the right one. The first backpack I brought back in 2019 was actually too big. Now I’ve confirmed I’m doing the whole trip only on hand luggage the biggest bag you can have is 40 litres. The original one was 68 litres lucky for me I managed to sell this on ebay at near enough the price I paid, still had all the tags on.
Second bag I brought was a more knee jerk decision and though it was still Osprey and purple it and only 34 litres it was a pack in the top bag. It had been playing on my mind that everything I wanted something I’d have to unpack and repack each time.
I had looked at the Osprey Fairview 40 litre ones which are a clam shell, so open more like a suitcase but they didn’t have stock…but again lucky me I checked while at Donna’s and managed to find one in stock!
So now I’m going with an Osprey Fairview 40 and Osprey Daypack (think it’s 18-20 litre) clearly this one is to go under the seat in front of me.
Going to Czech next week and will be taking my backpack as a test run!!!
